Teaching Daisy how to bark vigilantly at anyone who comes into our yard is exhausting. She doesn't get it - you can't quit, give up, take a break or back down. You have to keep the bark going non-stop and make it shrill. They have to hear it all the way down to the sidewalk and down the block into the Elliot's yard. There's no room for error. And no room for quitters.
